What our customers say about us

"I recently had the experience of several visits to a friend of mine who was being cared for at Perpetual Help Assisted Living.  I was very impressed by her quarters there, the cleanliness of the house, but most of all by the loving, compassionate care she received there.  Her caretaker, Marian Gutierrez, a registered nurse, and her husband Ken, exhibited hospitality, a sense of family, and dedication to their residents.  My friend, recently deceased, never uttered any complaints about her residence there, nor the care she received which in itself a recommendation.  Instead she seemed happy and serene in her residence at Perpetual Help."

"The owners of this home care for your loved one as if they were part of their own family.  You could not ask for better hands on care than Marian or Ken. The fact that she is also an RN helps immensely as they can stay on top of everything and get The resources to the house quickly. The caregivers are all top notch and super!  The food is great and customized as necessary.  The setting in the home is perfect. Clean.  Neat. Homey and modern.  Check them out for yourself. You will not be disappointed!"

"Medically competent, kind, caring, warm, welcoming, smart and funny are the words I use to describe this wonderful family home. Can't praise Marian, Ken and team enough! My mother suffered from dementia and was treated with gentleness, dignity and respect. I couldn't have asked for more! I highly, HIGHLY recommend!"

"I became acquainted with Perpetual Help Assisted Living recently. A loved one of mine was a resident in the home for several months.

Immediately upon entering the home and meeting Marian, the owner, I knew my loved one was well cared for and was in the right place. The home was spotless, modest and comfortable. There were absolutely no unpleasant odors.  Guests were welcomed and encouraged to spend time with their family members. Residents were engaged, rather than simply left in their rooms alone, and, when appropriate, brought out to the great room.

The home is convenient to west Mesa, Tempe and central and south Scottsdale.

As a hospice employee, as well as the family member of a recent resident, I highly recommend Perpetual Help Assisted Living. Your loved one will receive the best of care with dignity and compassion.

Thank you, Marian and team, for your loving care of my family member.

With deepest gratitude,"

"I’d like to start by saying thank you to the owners Marian and Ken, as well as the staff of Perpetual Help Assisted Living.  Your care of my Father was nothing short of exemplary!  Having experience with facilities such as this, as well as having other relatives in full time care facilities, I am acutely aware of amenities and conditions our loved ones are entrusted to.  I cannot stress enough my amazement at this homes (I call it a home as opposed to a facility as it felt like home) warm and welcoming feeling even from the outside.

Upon arriving there for the first time to visit my Father I was made to feel like my Father was in the best of hands, I very quickly determined he absolutely was.  Marian greeted me and carefully explained to me every single detail of her and her staffs care of my Father.  The home was spotless, residents were alert and happy, and it smelled like I walked into my house, not a assisted care home!  What was unique to me was a feeling of true endentured love for ALL of the residents of the home.  Their 1 on 1 care was so compassionate and tender yet attentive and purpose driven.  I could easily tell my Father loved Marian, her husband Ken their children and the staff.  I had no question in my mind that he was under the BEST care possible.  In fact I remarked, “how lucky we are to have our love one in their home.....”.

When my Father passed I’ve little doubt that he was as absolutely as comfortable as he could be, with Marian lovingly holding his hand, all the while reassuring him, comforting him.

Once again, Thank You Marian and Ken, as well as your staff for taking the time and effort to build something so remarkable!  I HIGHLY recommend Perpetual Help Assisted Living."
